The waste – heat utilization and energy – supply project of the data center of Jingjin Gaocun Qingshu Science Park (hereinafter referred to as “Qingshu Science Park”), invested and constructed by State Grid (Tianjin) Integrated Energy Service Co., Ltd., has officially commenced construction. According to professional estimates, upon completion, the project can save approximately 1.09 million kWh of energy consumption for the data center annually.
Qingshu Science Park is located in Gaocun Science and Technology Innovation Park, which lies between Beijing and Tianjin. This park is a crucial component of the Beijing – Tianjin – Hebei Big Data Comprehensive Pilot Zone, attracting the settlement of over 10 big – data – related enterprises, such as China Telecom, Global Switch, China Railway, and Huawei. The project under construction will build an energy station with an approximate area of 800 square meters within Qingshu Science Park.
Yang Yanchun, the deputy manager of the Market Operation Department of State Grid (Tianjin) Integrated Energy Service Co., Ltd., introduced: “This energy station focuses on collecting the waste heat generated by the data center, supplemented by air – source heat pump and electric refrigeration unit technologies. By applying advanced magnetic – levitation heat – pump technology and a configured intelligent energy management system, it enables the efficient and optimized matching operation of equipment such as mainframes, water pumps, and cooling towers within the data center. After the project is put into operation, it can provide winter heating, summer cooling, and domestic hot water supply services to buildings in Qingshu Science Park with an area of over 100,000 square meters. It is estimated that the annual energy cost can be reduced by approximately 1 million yuan, and carbon dioxide emissions can be decreased by 1,659 tons.
In the entire HVAC system, the rubber joints and spring shock absorbers provided by Shanghai Songjiang Group play an indispensable role. Based on the actual energy – usage requirements of the park, State Grid (Tianjin) Integrated Energy Service Co., Ltd. conducted comprehensive on – site inspections and technical analyses, and meticulously formulated a comprehensive energy – saving renovation plan. The construction of this project adopts innovative technologies such as multi – level active and passive system protection, demanding extremely high construction techniques and having a tight schedule.
To ensure the high – quality and on – time commissioning of the project, State Grid (Tianjin) Integrated Energy Service Co., Ltd. carefully arranged the construction schedule in reverse, strictly controlled key aspects such as plan confirmation, drawing review, and safety supervision, ensuring the orderly progress of the project according to the nodes.
